FENDI Roma – A Fur Story | Rare Atelier Book with Mink Fur Logo & Leather Case

A rare boutique and atelier publication produced by Fendi, conceived as a visual document of the Maison’s history and its long-standing expertise in fur craftsmanship. This was never a commercial release and carries no ISBN, having been distributed in limited quantities through Fendi boutiques and the Rome atelier.

The volume is bound in black leather and features a genuine mink fur “FF / Fun Fur” logo applied to the cover, presented within its original rigid leather case. Substantial in both scale and weight, it is closer to a design object than a conventional book.

The content is primarily visual, with only two text sections (introduction and acknowledgments). The historical timeline and credits conclude in December 2018, placing its production around 2019.

The book itself remains in mint condition, with no signs of handling. The interior of the case is likewise pristine. The exterior shows only minimal evidence of careful handling: two small rubs to the side corners and four very faint pressure marks on the front, visible only under certain light. The leather overall is clean, supple, and free from scratches.

Measuring approximately 31 × 36 × 7 cm (case) and weighing around 2.7 kg, this is a substantial and highly tactile object. Examples are rarely seen on the market and are more commonly encountered in boutique or atelier settings than in private collections.
